"Das muss furchtbar gewesen sein", sagte der Regierungsbeamte zumBauern. "Dieser ganze Schnee."
"It must have been terrible", said the man from the government to a farmer. "All that snow."

"Hätte schlimmer sein können. Mein Nachbar hatte mehr Schnee als ich.",antwortete der Bauer ruhig.
"Could have been worse. My neighbor had more snow than me.", answered the farmer calmly.

"Wie kommt das?", fragte der Regierungsbeamte.
"How's that?", asked the government man.

"Mehr Grundstücke", antwortete der Bauer.
"More land", replied the farmer.
