(Husband comes back from the post office.)
Ehemann: Hallo Schatz! Du wirst nicht glauben was ich gesehen habe. Draussen sind Polizeiautos und ein Krankenwagen. Und sogar ein Helikopter!
Husband: Hi darling! You won't believe what I've seen. There are police cars and an ambulance outside. And even a helicopter!
Ehefrau: Oh, was ist passiert? Ich habe Polizeisirenen vor 10 Minuten gehört.
Wife: Oh, what happened? I heard police siren 10 minutes ago.
Ehemann: Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber es sieht so aus als ob jemand von der Klippe gefallen oder gesprungen ist.
Husband: I'm not sure but looks like somebody fell or jumped from the cliffs.
Frau: Oje. Bist du dir sicher?
Wife: Oh dear. Are you sure?
Ehemann: Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber ich habe mit jemandem gesprochen der das gesagt hat.
Husband: I'm not sure, but I talked to somebody who said so.
Ehefrau: Moment, ich schau mal ob was in den Nachrichten ist.
Wife: One moment, let me check the news.

Ehefrau: Oh, ich habe es gefunden. Da steht "Mann fällt 18 Meter von einer Klippe in Broadstairs".
Wife: Oh, I've found it. It says "Man falls 60ft off cliff in Broadstairs".
Ehemann: Hat er überlebt?
Husband: Did he survive?
Wife: Leider nicht. Sanitäter versuchten ihn zu reanimieren, aber er wurde kurz darauf für tot erklärt.
Wife: Afraid not. Paramedics tried to revive him, but he was pronounced dead shortly after.
Ehemann: So traurig..
Husband: So sad..
Wife: Da steht er war ein Mann in den Zwanzigern oder Anfang Dreissig.
Wife: It says he was a man in his 20s or early 30s.
Ehemann: Ein vergeudetes junges Leben!
Husband: A wasted young life!
Wife: Ja, leider!
Wife: Yes, what a pity!
